A Professional Association by and for In-House Attorneys of Color
...creating opportunities for lawyers of color, one lawyer at a time

WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF MIHCA?
To promote the professional development, networking and career advancement of minority in-house counsel; to enable minority in-house counsel to recruit other lawyers of color; and to further increase diversity in the legal profession-especially in corporations.
MIHCA's Conference for Minority In-House Counsel was in Chicago, Illinois at The Palmer House in June of 2013 and was a great success! To see photos and read feedback from those who attended this event, please visit our Events Page >>
THE MIHCA DIFFERENCE: MIHCA provides a nationwide, grassroots diversity campaign by and for minority in-house counsel, without limitations or expectations from corporations, general counsel, or bar groups based on financial contributions. In short, MIHCA is committed to assisting in-house counsel and corporations with providing financial support surrounding the challenges of diverse issues while eliminating distracting obligations associated with accepting such financial support. MIHCA pledges to uphold purity in the diversity space and will not award contributors merely for financial support. MIHCA also pledges to maintain complete financial transparency. All MIHCA event fees will be minimal, charging only when necessary to cover the costs of events. Participation in such events will be primarily limited to specific targeted in-house counsel populations. We look forward to learning more about how we can partner with you!
